The Master Grade Series was produced for only three years from 1996 to 1999, and is still very popular today due to its high quality.
The series was produced in the Custom Shop, mainly by Yamano Gakki, the Japanese distributor, and was carefully produced with sparing cost and time, using old templates of the time and the old swing-type fret slotter that "Leo Fender" himself used.
The large head with CBS logo, round rose fingerboard, and alder body reproduce the specifications of the period not only in manufacturing methods but also in appearance.
The tone is powerful and thick overall, but it has a unique comp feeling that can be felt in Fenders of the late 60's, and even when connected directly to a Marshall, it has a Strat sound that you will never feel inadequate!
