Offered for sale;
Used 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb serial number A08¿99?5.
This amp is fully functional, the speaker is a non-original 1967 Fender Utah. Cosmetically the amp shows some Tolex wear and brightwork corrosion on the chassis straps and handle.
We acquired this amp from a client who bought it around 1970.
The serial number is partially obscured (see photo).
Since the number is stamped into the metal chassis it probably wasn’t merely rubbed off. The previous owner (now in his 70s) told us he bought it used that way 50 years ago.
It has been recapped and the power cable is now a grounded 3 prong. Additional maintenance has been performed including cleaning pots, tightening tube sockets etc.
Well known for decades the Deluxe Reverb is a timeless workhorse guitar amp, moderately powered with the tonal richness and touch-sensitive dynamics that define Fender amps.
Heard on countless recordings and on countless stages this is the fantastic sparkling-clean sound, warm breakup when pushed, and cavernous reverb of Fender’s famous "blackface" amps, prized by guitarists everywhere. Many consider The Deluxe Reverb the perfect amplifier.
This point to point wired amp will take you where you want to go. Serious WOW factor!
“We test every used amp and pedal when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. Then we burn it in for an hour or so before we ship so that there are no surprises.”

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
