1982 Fender Deluxe Reverb II
Clean and original save for replacement Celestion G12H30 12” loudspeaker. A strong 18 watts from a pair of 6V6s, designed by Ed Jahns in the Paul Rivera period, the Princeton Reverb II has, like the Super Champ, a very MESA/Boogie thing going on, with a footswitchable lead channel accessed through a push-pull volume control and a lead channel level in addition to the master volume, as well as a push-pull bright switch and mid boost. Lots of gain, a decided resemblance to the Mark I/Mark II amps tonally. 3-band EQ, presence, and reverb round out the front panel features. Line out on the back panel, and Fender’s famously long and robust mains cable with a red 3-prong plug. Footswitch is missing but the amp does have its original vinyl slipcover, handwired in Fullerton, California, USA.
