1957 Fender Duo-Sonic Lake Placid Blue Refin

Hot off the press! Cool player’s grade 1957 Fender Duo-Sonic gold guard in an amazing Lake Placid Blue refin. Over the past few years, the maple neck 50s era Musicmasters and Duo-Sonics have jumped up in popularity and quite honestly are some of the only relatively affordable 50s era Fender instruments still available. This example had its was refinished ages ago and most of the wear appears authentic save for the sanding marks on top. Gold Anodized guard has been painted white as well. The neck finish and decal are untouched. No visible pencil date, so this may be a later 59 neck. Pickups, pots and wiring are all original as well. Overall this is a fantastic player’s grade gold guard Duo-Sonic at the price point of a new Strat. Comes with a non-original hard shell case.
