For your consideration a 1966 Fender Duo Sonic II refinished by Marty Bell in a glorious Blue Sparkle! These guitars are Fun with a capital F! It was original brought to the market as a student-model in 1956. What really makes these guitars fun are their size. Its a 3/4 size guitar so it has a 22.5 inch scale length. This one was refinished in this wonderful blue sparkle and given a matching headstock! Round laminate Brazilian rosewood fingerboard! Wonderful flame maple neck. Awesome deal for a really fun 60s Fender!
Specs! This guitar is in very good condition. Finish chipping where the neck meets the body. Comes with a non-original hard shell case. Nickel Kluson tuners. 1.5″ nut width. Maple neck with a depth of .82″ at the first fret and .91″ at the twelfth fret. 22.5″ scale length. Rosewood round laminate fingerboard with a 7.25″ radius. Action measures 4/64″ straight across. 21 medium frets are currently in good condition. Alder body refinished in a blue sparkle and given a matching headstock done by Marty Bell. Non-original Set of Lollar Blackface single coil pick ups. All new wiring and CTS pots. Original 3 saddle bridge. Non-original pick guard. Weighs 6 pounds and 13 ounces.
