This is a stunning 1954 Fender Esquire in Blond with an unbelievable vibe! The Esquire was Fender’s first Electric Spanish guitar in 1950 and was an instant success for the budding company. In late 1954 into 1955, noticeable changes came to the Esquire and Telecaster models, with this particular guitar retaining many early fittings, such as a flat-pole pickup, round switch tip, dome knobs, brass saddles, and a blackguard, of course! The guitar is original, aside from a new nut and repro tuners to make sure it’s still playing as it should. It appears a neck pickup was installed at one point, but has since been removed.
Overall Condition: 7, worn in all the right places with neck/fretboard wear, buckle rash, and patina to round it all off!
