1954 Fender Esquire Blackguard

Few guitars are as sought after as the original 50's "Blackguard" era Telecaster and Esquire models, and this incredible example from 1954 is one of the best we've had! The single pickup Esquire is renowned for it's aggressive tone and surprising versatility, making it the instrument of choice for players like Jeff Beck. With a lightweight ash body, the perfect '54 profile maple neck, and original single Esquire pickup, this guitar absolutely screams! This guitar once had a Les Paul style output jack, resulting in a few small filled screw holes. The tone pot has also been replaced. This guitar also includes an original "Poodle" style hardshell case. These guitars have become very hard to find in recent years, so if you're a collector or simply a player looking for a killer sounding guitar, this Esquire is hard to beat!
