This Fender Esquire was made in the USA in 1954. Neck is initialed by Tadeo Gomez and dated 9-54. Serial number is on the bridgeplate. The body has been refinished a long time ago. There is a filled humbucker route under the guard. This guitar has been wired as a telecaster with an original style "dark circuit". The bridge, pots, switch, plates, and bridge pickup are original, although the original pickup has been rewound. The tuners are 60's klusons (no extra holes) and the pickguard is a Clive Brown, and the neck pickup is a Duncan antiquity. The guitar plays and sounds great. It comes with the 50's tweed case in the pictures, which is probably from 55 or 56.
