1986 Fender ExTrad Series '57 Stratocaster Reissue Sunburst

1986 Fender ExTrad Series '57 Stratocaster Reissue Sunburst, in overall great vintage condition - some authentic natural wear has occurred over the years which looks very consistent with the original gems these wonderful guitars are based off of. One of the most sought after and highly regarded series that Fender Japan ever produced, the ExTrad (Extra Traditional) guitars were a painstaking homage to Fender's golden years in the '50's and '60's, made right at the time that vintage guitars were starting to have their moment. These guitars were fantastic handmade and custom ordered machines which paralleled Fender's USA Custom Shop offerings at the time, with features including high quality tone woods, highly figure Maple neck and full nitro lacquer. These were original made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and were the top of the line - this one is from the first year of production.  A truly phenomenal guitar this is punching well within the same grounds as any Custom Shop Strat that we've had in. Pickups have been changed to a set of early Hepcat '57 pickups, which sound out of this world. The guitar appears to have had a flawless professional refret. Includes NOHSC.
