Extremely cool, and very not original 1977 Fender Stratocaster! This one started out as a hardtail, but a Kahler locking tremolo system was added. The pickups and electronics have been swapped out for 3 single coil sized humbuckers which sound great! While its no longer a collector piece, it is now a fantastic super Strat!!
The finish is original and has aged beautifully. Lots of checking, dings, nics, scratches, discoloration, and scuffs as you would expect for a proper vintage guitar that has been well played. The frets are used and show a good amount of wear, but still play well.
The Kahler locking tremolo system, pickups, electronics, strap buttons, and some screws are not original. The guitar is otherwise original.
Includes the pictured original hard case. Case shows some wear but all latches work well.
This certainly isn't the vintage Stratocaster for everyone, but if you want a great proper vintage super strat, this could be the one.
