Oh Yes! Here we have a 1965 Fender Jaguar in Firemist Gold with matching headstock. Lots of playwear including through-finish dings (especially on the edges) and some finish loss around the tuner grommets. If you’re looking for a pristine collector’s piece this isn’t your guitar, but if you’re like us, the patina of heavy playwear is just pure vintage mojo on a really fine, well loved, and historical guitar. The Firemist Gold finish has aged to a beautiful luster. Did we mention it has matching Firemist Gold headstock, as well?
Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners. Replaced Corian nut with a width of 1.5 inches. Maple neck with a 24 inch scale length and depth of .8 inches at the first fret and one full inch at the twelfth fret. Fender vintage “A” (narrow nut) neck with a neck stamp of “1 MAR 65A.” Rosewood fingerboard with 7.25 inch radius and 21 frets. Original pickups with replaced pots. Original bridge, saddle, and tailpiece. Original 3-ply pickguard with some shrinkage but no breaks or cracks.
This guitar plays and sounds as magnificent as it looks. Super cool guitar that everyone in the shop wants to take home. Comes with its original hardshell case with a bronze music store label that says “H&H Music Co.”
