Description

Feast your eyes on this beautiful, one-off 1965 Fender Jaguar in its original Gold Champagne Sparkle finish! This guitar was most likely made for a Fender display at a Trade Show, as it is a showstopper! Not only is the body and headstock finished in a brilliant pink/gold sparkle, but this original pickguard is topped in a thick sparkle epoxy to match. One of the coolest parts of this guitar is the factory block inlays made with a “crushed shell” like material; similar to Rickenbackers! The guitar is set up for a comfortable low action, and playability is fantastic. The two original pickups sound great, and thanks to the Jaguar wiring, you can mix and match to find the exact tone you’re looking for! It appears the headstock saw some moisture at some point leaving some flakiness to the finish on the front and back of the headstock, but the majority of this area appears stable.

Overall Condition: 9, flakey headstock finish due to moisture
