Now available on consignment, an early 1965 Fender Jaguar that has been lovingly restored and refinished in Lake Placid Blue.
Work to the guitar includes:
The pickups have been replaced with a rewound '63 in the bridge (7.2k oohms), and an original '65 Jaguar pickup in the neck position (6.8k). There are no body routes, and the original sunburst finish is in the cavities.
The pickguard is a modern replacement, and most of the wiring is vintage correct pushback wire.
The guitar has been refretted recently with slightly larger frets, and there is some divoting to the rosewood as pictured. This does not affect playability whatsoever and feels fantastic in hand.
Otherwise this guitar retains all of its original hardware minus the pickguard/some control plate screws. The bridge saddles are also replacements. The original rhythm circuit and lower control loom remain, with both stackpole pots dating to the 8th week of 1965.
A fantastic playing and sounding Fender Jaguar that has been well played. Includes a non original hardcase and reissue tremolo arm.
