The ST57, built based on the '57 specifications with a small-head 1P maple neck and 1-ply pickguard, is as popular as the ST62 among Fender Japan's ST models.
The neck shape is a slightly narrower C-shape, and the maple fingerboard produces a bouncy ST tone that is unique to the ST57.
