The Jaguar was released in 1962 and was extremely popular among surf musicians at the time, but production was discontinued in 1975 due to changes in the music scene.
In the 1990s, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana brought the Jaguar back into the limelight.
This model is a reproduction of the Jaguar that Kurt used with many customizations.
This HJG-66 is a special order model for Ikebe instruments, and among several variations, the three slide switches on the right side of the front PU have been changed to a 3-way toggle switch.
This model has a tone that is different from the general Jaguar sound, and is excellent with distortion! You can enjoy a rough grunge style.
With a number of practical customizations, this is a great choice for Kurt Cobain lovers as well as those looking for a Jaguar that can be used in real-world situations!
