1982年に発足したFender Japan。代理店の変更に伴い2015年にFender Japanという名前は姿を消すこととなりました。
その後本家FenderにてMIJ(Made In Japan)シリーズとして今もハイクオリティな楽器を製造していますが、Fender Japanはジャパン・ビンテージとして高い評価を得て国内外問わず人気を博しています。
Fender Japanの初期であるE Serial期の本機はフジゲンが制作し、海外からも評価が高く、国内市場にも数が少くなくなっており、人気と需要が高まっています。
ポット、コンデンサーの交換あり、リフレットが施されています。
ピックアップはJVSerial期にも使用されていたグレイボビンを搭載。
中音域のパンチはありつつも、低音域にはしっかりと芯があり、歪ませてもベースラインが失われない芯の強さがあります。
ピックでゴリゴリに弾いてもよし、指弾きで繊細なピッキングしてもよしのプレシジョンベースです！
