This is a super cool vintage Fender Jazz Bass from 1970 that has been refinished. Unfortunately, the truss rod is completely maxed out and the truss rod screw is totally stripped. Therefore, there's a pretty significant forward bow in the neck.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that include various scratches, dents, chips, and scuffs throughout the body, neck, and headstock. The perimeter around the bridge pickup cavity is very scuffed as well. The hardware shows some oxidation and the binding around the neck has also aged and discolored over time. It appears that the lines decorated on the pickguard are possibly paint marker. There's also a second hole drilled on the headstock where the string tree may have been placed at one point. The frets are definitely used and don't retain the crowned shape they once had and the fretboard shows some wear as well.
The original finish is undetermined and the pickguard has been replaced. The bridge cover is also missing and the volume/tone knobs have been added. This bass otherwise appears to be original.
Includes the pictured hard case.
