2002 Fender Jazz Bass Sage Green
Hands down, this is the coolest MIM Jazz Bass I've laid my hands on. The weight is perfect, the color is awesome, the neck feels great and shows a little grain, and it seems to have been played in enough to give it that mojo that only comes through use.
This is evidenced in the neck finish and the bass side of the lower bout. I thought that area might have been relic'd by a previous owner, but then I got a hold of the bass and can tell that the neck has been played a good amount. I can't be certain, but that is my take on it.
The bass is pictured with the upper strap button missing. I have some from Stratocasters of this era, so I will get that corrected.
The neck is killer and the action is perfect. The truss rod is effective in case it is needed for future neck adjustments. While the bass has been played and the frets show divots/wear, there is plenty of fret life left.
A Road Runner case is included, along with more than a fair share of stickers.
