DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 2015 Fender Standard Jazz Bass in Polar white. Leo Fender released the Jazz bass in 1960 and it is still one of the most popular bass models on the market! It has a narrower and thiner neck, a two single coil pick ups and borrowed some features from their Jazzmaster guitars. The signature sound of the Jazz bass is the ability to bring in more treble from the bridge pick up, giving your bass lines more definition and attack!
Specs! This bass is all original and in excellent condition. Chrome Tuners. Nut width measures 1.5″. One piece maple neck with a depth of .80″ at the first fret and .92″ at the twelfth fret. 34″ scale length. Maple finger board with a 9.5″ radius. Action measures 6/64″ straight across. The original 20 medium frets are in excellent condition. The alder body is finished in their Polar White. Two Single coil Jazz Bass pick ups. Original wiring. Chrome 4 saddle bridge. Can’t go wrong with a solid Jazz Bass. Would make an awesome back up bass and really amazing beginner bass with tons of room to grow into. Set up very nicely with flat wound strings. Plays fast and comfortable. Great weight for long band practices. Classic J-Bass sound. Cant go wrong with this Fender!
