Sunburst color with advanced red fading that is unique to this period.
The contrast between the reddish color and the reddish color of the bridge cover and other parts is beautiful, and combined with the weather checks on the entire body, the color is very dignified.
The parts are still in good condition.
The main parts are still intact, so you can fully enjoy the vintage texture of this guitar.

Neck date is January 1966.
Bound dots and paddle pegs are the specs of the transitional period, and the rosewood fingerboard is black and oily.
The fretboard has been carefully refretted, and playability is unquestionable. The edge treatment is also excellent.
The nut itself appears to be vintage, but has been refretted and may have been replaced.
Also, the neck has been oversprayed.
According to the previous owner, the guitar has been refretted by Plek, and the quality of the refretting is evident in the very smooth playability of the guitar.

The logo decal, serial plate, neck date, pots, etc. indicate that this guitar was shipped in 1966.
The PU is a gray bobbin that appears to be original, including the coil wires.
The front date is 66, and the rear date cannot be confirmed, but there is no rewinding, etc. The condition of the pot solder, etc. are also taken into account and judged to be original.

Pot date is 12 weeks 1966 for front Vol, 196x for rear Vol (hidden), and 12 weeks 1966 for tone.
The condenser is original Arco Electronics, and the jack is also old.
Currently, when the rear Vol is turned down, the output does not fully drop slightly, and the sound from the amp is leaking.
However, when the volume is turned up, it is grounded and there is no problem with the output.
If you wish, we can replace the pot with a new one at the time of purchase.

The bridge plate looks original, but the saddle, octave screw, and spring have been replaced.
There are some screws and strap pins that have been replaced, but as a whole, the electrical system, bridge and other small screws, truss rod, etc. can be used without any stress in the current condition.

It boasts a great sound with many advantages for players in the field, as exemplified by the CBS 60's round fretboard, and it can be used in a wide range of playing styles and musical situations.
It can be used in a wide range of situations, regardless of playing style or music scene.
The overall low/mid/high bandwidth is not too uneven, and the sound can be easily made up even when the guitar is played directly through an amp.
It has the instantaneous power and compressibility of the Mid 60s, and is loud enough to be used with modern music.
