Description

1964 Fender Jazzmaster Refinish Dakota Red, in very good vintage condition. This is undoubtedly one very cool player's grade machine that has lived a life. Per capita, some of the best pre-CBS offsets that we have had in over the years were all 1964's and this one is no exception, it's a real doozy.

Very old and very thin nitro body refinish in Dakota Red, which has aged very nicely over the years. The Custom Colour headstock finish and decal are original and blacklight as such, the back of the neck has had the lacquer stripper and has been lightly refinished. This one is a late '64 transitional model, the original pickups are one black bottom and one grey bottom - which is not uncommon for this time period. The pickup covers are original but have been lacquered over. The bridge has been changed to a Mastery and the guitar has had a flawless re-fret which has really benefitted the playability.

This was a locally bought and owned guitar, with the original owner's Dublin address still written inside the guitar.

A monster player, great weight and sounds wonderful plugged in. Includes OHSC and original bridge.

Feel free to get in touch for a more accurate shipping quote to your location, or for any other information - happy to help! There is no import duties for customers based in the US as the instrument is going back to the country of origin - only some potential customs fees on the price of shipping, which would be negligible.
