2017 Fender Jazzmaster HH Ghost Silver

Excellent condition featuring offset alder body with Ghost Silver finish, multi-ply black pickguard, two exposed coil Blacktop humbucking pickups, one volume control and one tone control with push/pull coil splitting with black knobs, three position pickup selector switch, tremolo tailpiece, Jazzmaster bridge with Mustang-style single slotted barrel saddles, modern C shaped maple neck with walnut skunkstripe, pao farro fingerboard with white dot inlays starting at the third fret, synthetic bone nut, maple peghead with Fender and Jazzmaster logos, single string tree, six in a line tuning machines, serial number and Made in Mexico on the back of the headstock, four bolt neck fastening plate with Fender engraving, and two metal strap buttons. This guitar weighs 8lb 5oz.

This 2017 Fender Jazzmaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing some signs of play wear throughout including some dings on the body edges and scratches on the pickguard (see photos). The modern C neck profile feels great in hand and is very comfortable to play. The frets show few signs of use and have a lifetime of use left in them. The Blacktop pickups really sound terrific and bring a fuller and more powerful sound than one would typically expect from a Jazzmaster. They sound good clean or overdriven and really shine through a Fender amp and the push/pull coil tap offers additional tonal options. The tremolo works great and operates very smoothly (the trem arm is not included). The bridge is excellent and has “Mustang” style saddles that seem to work better than the slotted barrel saddles found on Jazzmasters of the past. The Ghost Silver finish is very striking with the black pickguard and exposed coil pickups. This is a tremendous guitar and a truly great offering from Fender. If you're after a killer offset with unique features, this one is a great option.
