This is a very rare and hard to find crafted in Japan era Fender JBV-LH left handed Jazz Bass, produced exclusively for the Japanese market. The bass plays and sounds great! The low B string really provides such a thick and full tone.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body from normal play. The hardware is also staring to show some light tarnish from over time. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickguard is missing and the pickups have been swapped for a set of Fralin Jazz Bass pickups. Some of the electronics appear to have been upgraded along with the gold electronics plate. This bass otherwise appears to be original.
