2023年リミテッドエディション！セミホロウボディのジャズベース！
2023年Fenderから発売されたLimited Edition Suona Collection。Suona Stratocaster、Suona Telecaster、そしてこのSuona Jazz Bassという３機種のラインナップでした。
「Suona」とはイタリア語で「音」を意味し、洗練されたエレガントなデザインと音楽的インスピレーションをコンセプトとした限定モデルです。
セミホロウのアッシュボディにスプルーストップを組み合わせ、ローストフレイムメイプルネックにエボニー指板を採用。
塗装はニトロセルロースラッカーフィニッシュとなっており、「バイオリンバースト」というカラー名の通り、ボディのFホールと抜群にマッチしたクラシカルで高級感あふれるデザインとなっています。
ホロウボディとなっていますが、ボディバックにはコンター加工が施されており細やかなクラフトマンシップを感じられます。
エルボーコンターこそありませんが、一般的なジャズベースを抱えた感じと大きな差異は感じられず、違和感なく演奏することが可能です！
サウンドはあくまでジャズベースを基にした傾向で音の輪郭はハッキリとしているのですが、アタックは優しく、アコースティック感のある温かみのあるサウンドとなっています。
箱モノほどクセが強くなく、且つソリッドボディにはない柔らかなサウンドを持つ、個性的なモデルです！
