The Fender Made In Japan Mahogany Offset Telecaster originally debuted in the Fender Custom Shop and has since become a fan favorite. The combination of a Jazzmaster body with a Telecaster neck and hardware is a match made in heaven for many players. This new Japanese-made Offset Tele features an all-mahogany solidbody, with a mahogany thick and chunky U-shaped neck with a rosewood fingerboard — all with excellent playability and fantastic visual aesthetics.
Installed is a Soapbar rhythm single-coil pickup at the neck, perfectly matching the vintage-style single-coil Tele bridge pickup, producing a wide and fat arrange of powerful tones — all shapeable by a three-position blade switch.
