Fender HJG-66KC V Ikebe Limited Kurt Cobain Signature Jaguar CIJ 2002 Sunburst Japan w/ Bag

This is a super cool and hard to find crafted in Japan Fender Kurt Cobain Signature HJG-66KC Jaguar! This one is the second variation of the models made in collaboration with Ikebe Music in Japan. The features include three control knobs and a set of DiMarzio humbuckers, a DP103 36th Anniversary PAF in the neck position and a DP100 Super Distortion in the bridge position. All of these are modifications that Cobain made to his own Jaguar during one period of time. 

This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body. There's particularly quite a bit of significant scuffs and dents along the sides of the body and there's additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The front of the headstock has a couple of extra holes that have been filled from previous string trees that were added and there's also an extra hole for a strap button located on the back of the upper horn. The neck plate appears to be slightly warped with a couple of finish cracks underneath. The neck plate otherwise still keeps the neck secure to the body. The back of the body shows imprints from where there had been stickers placed at one point in time. The binding around the neck has yellowed from over time and the hardware also shows some light tarnish. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should. 

The DiMarzio bridge pickup is a replacement but is the correct pickup for this guitar. The tremolo arm has been added and the strap buttons have been replaced. It's also appears that the middle pot has been replaced. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
