Description

Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, this uber cool Pink Paisley Tele is totally dialed in and ready to rock. In Very Good condition with modest wear and tear for an instrument of this age. Made in Japan. Comes with original thermoplastic hard shell case. See below for more details and specifications.

Fender created Pink Paisley adorned Telecasters in 1968 and 1969 to capitalize on the hippie flower power movement and the music scene it spawned in the late 1960s. Ironically, the guitar never caught on with counter culture guitarists but found instead an unlikely champion in James Burton, seminal roots rock and country guitarist. Burton was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 and though he played many guitars during his long career, he will always be remembered for the Pink Paisley Tele he played with Elvis. The Paisley Tele flag is now carried by country music superstar and namesake Brad Paisley.

Although its original production run lasted just two years, the popular Pink Paisley Tele model has been reissued multiple times, including this fine example from Japan.
