The Musicmaster Bass Amp was first introduced in the early 1970s and quickly gained popularity among bass players due to its compact size, affordability, and unique tonal characteristics. Guitarists also love the amp - it actually sounds better for guitar than it does for bass at higher volumes.
The amp has a compact, light, and portable design, making it suitable for practice sessions, small gigs, or studio recording. It features a single-channel configuration with a minimalist control layout.
With output power of around 20 watts, and equipped with an 8 inch speaker, it is suitable for low to medium volume settings.
The Musicmaster Bass Amp is highly regarded among vintage gear enthusiasts. Its compact size, simplicity, and distinct tonal qualities have made it a sought-after amplifier for collectors and musicians seeking a vintage Fender sound.
The model was discontinued in the early 1980s, shortly after this unit was built.
