1956 Fender Musicmaster

Initially sold as "Student" guitars, Fender Musicmasters and Duo Sonics were made by the same people in the same factory as Blackguard Telecasters and early Stratocasters, and feature the same superior craftsmanship. This 1956 is the perfect example, with a pheonmenal, Soft "V" Shaped neck and lightweight, resonant body. The original owner of this guitar removed the original "Desert Sand" finish and added a period correct second pickup, effectively making it into a Duo Sonic. This addition required a new pickguard, but the original anodized, single pickup guard is included, along with the original hardshell case. The short scale size make this a very comfortable guitar to play while the unmistakable feel of a 50's Fender neck make this an excellent choice for any player looking for that vintage vibe at a great price.
