The Mustang was a student model released in 1964 for children and beginners in order to expand the market for Fender electric guitars. With features such as a short-scale neck, a bridge equipped with dynamic vibrato, and a phase-out sound, it is an instrument used in a wide variety of genres in the modern age. The rosewood fingerboard has a round board with the junction surface of the maple neck affixed in the same manner as the fingerboard's radius, producing a well-balanced sound in all positions. The unique airy sound of the mustang is one-of-a-kind. The sound of the Mustang's unique airy sound is unique.
