1966 Fender Mustang Red CBS
Now available, another original 1966 Fender Mustang in its original checked mustang red finish.
This particular example has been well played and has obviously seen some snokey bars in its time. The red finish has checked and faded a lot, and at one point it was painted black having been professionally taken back to the original finish. The neck retains it original finish and decal.
The guitar retains most of its original parts, minus a professional refret with a new nut at some point. These frets are vintage tall, and have tonnes of life left in them.
Otherwise this guitar retains all of its original hardware, plastics, and electronics. Both original grey bobbin pickups date to '66, as do the original stackpole pots.
A great playing original 60s Fender mustang, includes an era correct mustang case with no tremolo arm.
