2003 Fender Mustang Bass CIJ Olympic White
Summary: Based on the last production bass designed by Leo Fender before he left the company, this model is a reissue of the original 1960s Fender Mustang Bass. The Mustang Bass features a shorter 30-inch scale length as well as a split single-coil pickup smaller than that of the P Bass, which still captures a wide range of bass tones.
Body: This Olympic White Mustang has an alder body.
Neck: The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard, white dots and 19 frets. Nut width- 1 ½” Scale length- 30 ½”
Pickups/Hardware: It has split single coils with black covers. The bridge has 4 individual saddles, 1 volume 1 tone, vintage Fender style bass tuners, tortoise pickguard and black tug bar on the treble side.
Cosmetics: This bass is in fantastic shape with no major wear but a few scratches on the side of the body where your arm rests in playing position and a few nicks on the headstock. The frets look like they have been barely played upon, they have tons of life left in them.
Playability: This is such a fun bass to play. It has been set up by our in house luthier and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with low action.
