2008 Fender Players Deluxe Deluxe Stratocaster
Description
Summary: This Fender Deluxe Players Stratocaster has been heavily modified. The tuning keys have been swapped out with gold Sperzel locking tuning keys. Originally, this guitar came with Noiseless pickups and an S-1 switch. It now has standard Fender single coil pickups, and the switch has been removed. It now has a white pearl pickguard and back plate along with two Gibson style control knobs and a gold dome knob. The frets have a ton of wear and are very low with most of the wear on the first seven frets.
Body: Ash with a trans red gloss finish.
Neck: Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 21 frets, white dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Three Fender standard single coil pickups, Sperzel locking tuning keys, pearl pickguard/backplate, two Gibson style control knobs/one gold dome knob, gold hardware, master volume/2x tone controls/5-way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This guitar has light surface scratches throughout. The back of the neck has some small chips and dings in the finish. The frets have a lot of wear and are very low (See Photos Please). The back of the body has some dings and cracks in the finish.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
