Blondes have more fun, they say. Well, this all-original blonde 1954 Fender Precision bass certainly brings the fun. Bridge and pickup covers, yes. Bakelite saddles, uh huh. Beautifully aged blonde finish, you bet. Killer maple neck, yeah buddy. Original Fender leather gig bag, too.

This bass is a wonderful thing to behold. It’s in very good to excellent vintage condition with a fair amount of play wear but basically a very clean vintage tone machine. Body is dated 7-54. Neck is dated 10-54. Serial number 0599. It’s the real deal.

There’s not much to say about a 54 P-Bass that you don’t already know. These things have great tone and playability as well as being very collectable. We’d love to see this go to a touring musician, but it would also be a wonderful addition to your vintage bass collection that hangs proudly on display and gets played in your home.
