ON H O L D -- I worked for and managed two Fender Dealer stores in the '70's and '80's. I know the line VERY well. Back then we ordered/sold a few of this series. MOST of them weighed a LOT, and often quality control didn't "measure up" to Fenders of the past.
THIS ONE IS ACTUALLY A REALLY GOOD INSTRUMENT! (you may assume I'm "just saying this" cuz I'm selling it. NOT the case. I wouldn't have it if I thought it was unworthy). read on...........
Fit and finish, neck "function" (ie; NO issues) AND WEIGHT (9.83 lbs) are ALL REALLY NICE!
It's in marvelous condition, ORIGINAL (screws on metal guards may not be, as they're aren't black, but these get removed 99.9% of the time anyway, so not sure) HEY! LOOK at the PHOTOS!
Neck dimensions - nut width 1.64", depth at 1st fret .82", 12th fret .95". Frets are VERY clean.
Original case was sometimes used to carry another bass as obviously this one wasn't played very much, so it's more "used" but still "intact" (handle solid, latched/hinges good - a couple feet broken BUT it does stand up.
AGAIN - SEE PHOTOS. I used a really bright shop light to show wear that is hard to see under normal conditions. -- QUESTIONS? ASK.
