Oh my! Here we have a 1964 transitional Fender Princeton amp with white knobs on a blackface panel but with the brownface 6G2 circuit. This “Tuxedo” Princeton is all original. Dual 6V6s provide 12 watts to a CTS 10 inch speaker.
Pure sweet tone for days, of course, and a very versatile amp despite not having on-board reverb. We tried this amp with lots of different guitars and it sounds great with everything we’ve plugged in, though this amp really sings with Fender single coil pickups.
This amp is in near mint condition with tolex, faceplate, and grill cloth in pristine condition. You’ll look far and wide for a cleaner vintage Princeton than this one. But apart from the collector grade condition, it’s the tone of this amp that makes it a treasure.
