Description

Here's a 1965 Fender Pro Reverb Blackface amp. 1st year example!! AA 165 circuit. 2-Channel, 2x12 model, coming in at 40 watts. The Pro Reverb is essentially a dialed-back Twin -- smaller transformers, half the power tubes and a tube rectifier produce a saggier sound that drives much earlier. This example for sale has one original speaker that dates to '65. The sticker fell off the other speaker, but it is vintage. We purchased the amp from the 2nd owner, who purchased it in the mid 70s (with these currents speakers in it). He believed it to be a 60s era Fender speaker. With that said, transformers are original! It really sounds incredible. Beautiful cleans, to classic Blackface drive at manageable volumes! The Reveb and Vibrato both sounds amazing. The caps have been changed, and the amp is freshly serviced, so it's good to go!
