Rare original model. Rosewood Telecaster known for use by George Harrison.
Original rosewood Telecaster produced only briefly from 1969 to 1972. The original prototype had a rosewood fingerboard with a pasted neck and was famously used by George Harrison of The Beatles during the Let It Be sessions.
This 1970 original rosewood Telecaster has a lot of presence with the beautiful grain of the massive rosewood. The rosewood body is made of maple with a hollow space inside the body to reduce the weight of the heavy rosewood body. It also features the unique specifications of the early 1970s, such as the F-key made by Schaller.
The sound is well characterized by the solid contours, clear treble, and excellent sustain, and the overtone-rich resonance and sound that can be obtained by playing it are also attractive. This model is not only for George Harrison fans, but is also recommended for those who are looking for a unique Telecaster that can be used in practice or even displayed.
