My brain's been battered, splattered all over by this Splattercaster.
This guitar is just too cool. It's kinda funny too. The paint spatter pattern has garnered some funny commentary and a naming contest in my social media feeds.
My son wants to keep it, and we just might add it to the MIJ Blue Floral Tele I stashed for him. For now, here it is.
The instrument is all original with no changes, repairs or issues. It sets up and plays well and of course it is unique as heck. I think it is my favorite of the patterns Fender did on this model, and it seems to be the most rare as well, judging by the live and sold listings I found out there.
