Description

Phenomenal 1962 Stratocaster from Fender Japan! This one is a "G" serial, which is fairly early for Fenders manufacturing in Japan. The neck is stamped "12-26-89". Fantastic player with a nice dark rosewood fretboard. This is a light Strat coming in at  6.9 pounds.

This guitar shows some signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. There's a small chip on the bottom of the body as well as a few dents on the back. The Olympic white finish has also aged significantly to a yellow color. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.

The original pickups have been swapped for Van Zant Blues Model pickups. The original pickups are included in the gig bag. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.

Includes the pictured Fender strap and gig bag.
