This is a super cool made in Japan ST-72 Stratocaster Reissue that plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional scuffs along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard has yellowed from over time and shows imprints from where stickers had been placed at one point. The hardware and pickups also show normal tarnishing. The fretboard has various lacquer chips throughout as well. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The back spring cover, tremolo arm, and one of the tone knobs have been added. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
