Description

This is a super cool crafted in Japan Fender ST58-70TX Stratocaster in a very hard to find shell pink finish! As indicated in the model, this guitar is equipped with Texas Special pickups and the "O" serial number places the year of manufacture to be between 1997-2000. This guitar has an alder body, maple neck and fretboard, and a poly finish. The neck profile has a medium-chunky feel somewhere between a traditional '50s and '60s Stratocaster. A shim has been added to the neck pocket for a more comfortable playing action.

This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and a few dings on the headstock. The edges of the fretboard also show some minor wear from over time. The shell pink finish has aged very nicely and now appears to be a light orange color. The hardware also shows some normal light tarnishing from over time. The frets are used but still play well without any noticeable fret buzz and the electronics work as they should.

The tremolo arm has been added, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
