This guitar looks nearly new at first glance. A very close look shows some pick swirl on the pickguard, but the rest of the guitar is pretty much mint.
Frets look nearly unused. No parts are changed.
The earliest versions of the SRV Strat received serial numbers that appear to be from 1989, as did this one. Neck and body date stamps show that it was made in early 1992, the first year of production. There was a group of these made with Brazilian rosewood fretboards. This one sports the more common pao ferro board.
Original case is in excellent shape and includes original hang tags, paperwork and strap.
