1988 Fender Strat Plus Graffiti Yellow

Summary: If the name didn't imply, the Fender Strat Plus was originally released in 1987 as an upgraded American Standard Stratocaster, in particular boasting Lace Sensor Gold pickups, locking tuners, a roller nut, and Fender's TBX tone control system. If you're looking for a Stratocaster that offers more versatility and tuning stability than an American Standard, a Strat Plus might be the perfect guitar for you. This Strat features the illustrious “Graphiti Yellow” Finish, it has just been setup and restrung by our in-house guitar tech and it and ships in the original hard-shell case.

Body: Solid body Stratocaster with Graphiti Yellow finish and 3 ply w/b/w pickguard.

Neck: The maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard, Wilkinson roller nut, medium jumbo frets, 9.5” radius, 25.5” scale length 1 5/8” nut width and neck tilt adjustment screw.

Pickups/Hardware: It has the original gold Lace Sensor pickups, Wilkinson roller nut, nickel plated locking tuners, 2 point trem system with individual stainless steel saddles, 5 way switch, volume, 2 tones and TBX tone control system.

Cosmetics: This Strat is in fantastic shape with no real notable wear to mention but a few light pick scratches, a small finish crack in the neck pocket which is typical for most bolt on guitars, a crack in the pickguard by the farthest screw on the upper horn and a couple very small dents and dings. There is a very small ding on the side of the fingerboard by the 2nd fret (see picture).

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
