Description

This 1955 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst is an incredible second-year example! It features an exceptionally lightweight ash body that appears to be one solid piece with a beautiful grain pattern, further highlighted by this early two-tone finish. The neck has a comfortable soft V profile that fills the hand nicely, and though there is some wear to the fretboard, these frets remain original with life left in them! These three original single coils are all closely matched and sound excellent in each switch position, giving this Strat a snappy, clean tone that you can really push. Despite its age and light wear, this guitar remains original, including the finish, pickups, and all of the hardware. It even retains its original tweed case, along with a strap and instructions! At the very bottom of the guitar, there appears to be a small hole from some sort of impact, which you can view in the photos.

Overall Condition: 8.5, light playwear throughout, checking and patina
