1962 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 8xxx9; Body: Fiesta red refinish, white undercoat visible on the arm contour, various minor marks but generally in good solid condition, small enlargement to the worm rout in the bridge pickup cavity; Neck: maple, light wear, March 62 date stamp, minor dings and marks; Fretboard: Brazilian rosewood slab board; Frets: minor wear; Electrics: working, all three potentiometers replaced (CTS 1972 date stamps), replaced capacitor, one small replaced section of wire; Hardware: generally good, replaced nut, split to treble corner of pickguard, another small split to bass hand side of neck pickup; Case: contemporary Fender light tweed hard case; Weight: 3.57kg; Overall condition: good for age
