Description

This 1963 Fender Stratocaster in Burgundy Mist Metallic is truly a stunning guitar to look at, and it sounds and feels even better! Like all of the other Custom Color finishes, Burgundy Mist was used on several different model cars of the time, and remains one of the rarest to find on a Fender guitar. This particular example has the typical Factory Refinishing code stamped under the pickguard. Since there’s no corresponding neck stamp and seemingly no other color besides primer white in the paint chips, we can assume this might’ve been done before it ever left the factory in the first place. The finish certainly has the vibe and some great weather checking throughout! The neck on this piece is so comfortable in the hand, and the overall profile is quite full. The frets have been replaced with vintage-size frets that have plenty of life left in them. Aside from the refret and factory refinish, all of the components and electronics are completely original.

Overall Condition: 8, patina, weather checking and playwear
