1963 Fender Stratocaster Dakota Red

Just out of a private collection, this 1963 Stratocaster features an extremely rare Custom Color "Dakota Red" finish! This guitar features a "Spaghetti" Fender logo with clay dot inlays, mint green pickguard, and includes the original white case, as well as the "ash tray" bridge cover and even the original hang tags! This original guitar was even the subject of a photo for the Vintage Guitar Magazine calendar! The original pickups and three way switch ensure this guitar sounds every bit as good as it looks, and the medium "C" neck profile make this one of the best playing Strats in the shop. Custom Color Stratocasters of this era are increasingly difficult to find, and "Dakota Red" is certainly one of the most unusual finishes. If you're looking for a killer Custom Color Strat, this one is certainly hard to beat!
