1968 Fender Stratocaster Candy Apple Red

Museum quality rare year Strat in Candy Apple Red. It is mint. No checking, no wear, no issues. It has paperwork from the factory including hang tags, price list (Oct 68), 68 catalog. It has the original cord, strap, case keys, pick, spare set of strings and polishing cloth. It is 100% original and looks like it just left the factory. Yes, that's a lot of money for a 68 Strat but find another in this condition in a custom color. I've been doing this for 25 years and I've never seen a Strat this clean. It is stunning. If I showed it to you and told you it was brand new, you would have no trouble believing it. According to the previous (second) owner, it has never been opened. I will remove the guard and neck and photograph it if a serious buyer requests it. The serial number would indicate 67 but the features say 68. They sold so few Strats in 67, I'm not surprised that the serial would indicate the previous year. Original case.
