This USA Fender Stratocaster from 1977 is a great example from the late 70s era! This guitar has definitely been played over the many years and still retains great playability and function.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years as you would expect from a vintage instrument. The body shows various scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips all throughout with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple neck has aged over time and has several lacquer chips along the edges of the fretboard. The hardware and pickups also show some tarnish and oxidation from over the years. The frets appear to be original which are definitely worn, but still feel great to play overall.
One of the tone pots has been replaced and the tremolo arm has been added. The back spring cover screws have also been replaced. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
